working out and hair growth

Let’s see how exercise helps hair growth:

Exercise Reduces Stress:

One common reason behind hair loss is too much stress in life. When you are in stress the blood vessels, which supply blood to the scalp, does not function properly. When blood flow in the scalp area is less than the normal, it will not receive the essential nutrients required for healthy hair growth. This will ultimately result in various hair related problems. But when you exercise your stress level decreases, which stimulates hair growth. Additionally, exercise helps in having control over your body and life.

Exercise Reduces Cortisone and Increases Serotonin:

When your body produces more cortisone it causes hair fall. Cortisone, a kind of stress hormone is secreted by the adrenal gland. This hormone stops hair follicles from growing leading to thinning of the hair. Regular cardiovascular and aerobic exercises can help in controlling the cortisone level present in the body. Also exercises help in producing serotonin and endorphins hormones that help the body in dealing with stress.

Exercise Reduces DHT:

DHT which means dihydrotestosterone is passed down genetically in body. When the DHT level is on rise it can cause hair fall. DHT stops the growth of new hair cells, causing less hair growth.  Slow steady exercises like jogging or yoga can help in reducing the formation of DHT. Even recreational sports like soccer, football or baseball can help a lot in this regard. Here it is essential to note that over exercising once in a while can produce more DHT. So, always opt for moderate and regular exercises.

Exercise Improves Blood Circulation:

Regular exercise improves blood circulation which means better nourishment of the hair follicles. With improved blood circulation to the scalp hair follicles will get a good supply of oxygen and nutrients from our diet.  Good blood circulation also helps in distributing natural sebum evenly across the scalp, leading to good hair growth. This will result in healthier hair with more volume.

Exercise Releases Toxins:

While doing exercise, body releases sweat through which toxins are released from the body. Thus, exercise works as a cleansing regimen for the skin and scalp, which in turn creates a healthy environment for hair to grow.

Types of exercises that help hair growth:

Exercise is good for your overall health and hair growth. For hair growth, do weightlifting exercises with main focus on crunches and squats thrice a week. Crunches will make your body strong and squats help in releasing growth hormones. Weightlifting exercises also releases endorphins that help in dealing with problem like hair loss.
Yoga is also helpful in hair growth. There are different types of yoga exercises that workout the entire body. Yoga helps the body to relax and makes the muscles of the body more flexible. Relaxed body and mind improved hair growth rate. Also try to do some form of aerobic exercise such as running and treadmill at least twice a week as such exercises help the body to release endorphins which promotes hair growth.
To purify the blood and improve circulation of blood, do regular breathing exercises. Deep breathing purifies the blood and helps it to carry nutrients and oxygen to the cells of the scalp, which in turn promotes hair growth.  Breathing exercises also help in lowering the stress level.
Along with these exercises, your body needs adequate amount of sleep. Six to eight hours of sound sleep per night help your body to relax and improves hair growth rate.

Exercise and Diet:

When it comes to hair growth, there is a close connection between exercise and well balanced diet. When you do exercise, your body needs stamina and energy. Thus, it becomes essential to follow a well balanced nutritious diet. When your body is nourished properly, your hair will glow and look healthy. Along with diet it is important to drink plenty of water to keep your body free from dehydration.

tips when having a consultation with your stylist

1.BE HONEST. If you have colored your own hair and have had your hair colored or highlighted by another stylist with in the past year, let your stylist know. For instance, If you had your hair highlighted 3 or even 6 months ago and covered it up with a darker shade, unless you had most of your hair cut off since, those highlights are still lurking underneath. Your colorist needs to know this. Adding more highlights with out the proper knowledge could cause breakage. Also, color does not lift color, so it's important for us to know how much color has been deposited on your hair when applying new color.
It's wise to be honest about any allergies or sensitivities you may have and about any medication you may be taking too. Medication effects the hair. Always be forthcoming with your professional stylist when getting any chemical service.
2.BRING IN PHOTOS. Photos are a good way to help you communicate your desired color. What you consider blond may be totally different from what your colorists thinks is blond. There are many tones and levels of blond. The words "blond" or "Red" are just to broad. You and your colorist should examine different shades to determine the best color choice for you and your skin tone. You should also black out the face on the magazine photo. It may be the models face that is attractive to you. If you don't share the same skin tones or facial features you might be disappointed with the outcome. Try to imagine your own face with the style.
3.BE REALISTIC. When you bring in a celebrity photo and you want your stylist to duplicate the hairstyle and color for you, please consider the up keep. Maintaining some of those hair colors can be expensive and time consuming. You need to ask yourself, "can I keep up with this?" This is a good time to listen to the advice of your professional colorist. He or she can educate you on the maintenance it will take to keep the color healthy and fresh and instruct you on how to achieve the finished style at home. And remember, what looks good on the runway, may not look so good on the sidewalk.
Also be realistic about time. Some hair colors can take more than a few hours at the salon to achieve. You may have to come back several times to get the hair color you desire. Keeping your hair healthy and in good condition is vital to your colorist. This comes first.
4.CHANGE MAKE-UP. Getting a new hair color sometimes requires re-examining your make-up colors and eyebrow color. You want a cohesive look. If your hair color has been medium brown your whole life and you add lots of blond highlights to it, chances are your makeup will need adjusting. Women who have grown out their color and are now all grey or white, should also consider making changes to their cosmetic bag. Your colorist can guide you in making some
good choices during the consultation.
5. BE EARLY. Never be late for a hair color appointment. This rushes your colorist and cuts down on consultation time. If you are making a big change, you need to book a consult just before your appointment or during a slow time and an earlier day. Give yourself and your colorist at least 15 to 20 minutes of quality time to chat about your new look.
6.LIFESTYLE. One more item to discuss with your colorist is your lifestyle. Are you a conservative person who leads a pretty conservative life or an Artist with a Bohemian lifestyle? Are you an athletic soul who spends most of her time outdoors, in the sun or in chlorine pools? Are you an introvert or extrovert? These are all things to consider when making a dramatic change to your look. Who are you, really? Think about this. chyna aris

Brides to Be

when is comes to bridal styles you will have to examine your own personality. For instance, if you normally wear your hair short and sassy, you don't have to grow it out to wear an updo style that doesn't "Fit" your persona. There are many ways you can dress up your hair. Or you can add extensions if you prefer a different look with more volume. Not only do you need to consider your personality when choosing a style, you also should consider your dress and head piece, the weather and the wedding environment. Is the wedding formal and elegant or casual and beachy? Is your gown simple and sleek or flowy and fluffy? Will your head piece have a veil attached or would you prefer just a few flowers in your hair? Not every style will look good on every bride. Face shape and length of neck must be considered if wearing the hair sleeked back behind the ears. That is why it is so important to do a trial style before the big day.
